Let's Talk About Stickers

Flywheel began as a decal manufacturing company, and has completely transformed into a full-service creative marketing company. But, that doesn’t make decals even less important than before. Decals are such a simple, yet effective way to enhance your brand. Since 1981, we have utilized custom decals and labels to create what we call momentum marketing for clients, putting their brand in front of thousands of potential customers. We work with our clients to design and develop hundreds of decals and labels and develop a strategy to distribute them.

Allow us to explain exactly why decals are so effective. Our goal is that our client’s audience sticks the decal on their laptop, car, or water bottle, and in turn views the brand daily, constantly being reminded of our client’s brand value. We like to think of decals as trendy business cards.

We’re here to help you find creative solutions! Here are a few ways you can create decals people will want to carry around with them everywhere.

Your Logo

Okay, so this one is a little obvious. But, you probably have a cool logo that deserves to be seen by the world. Logos trigger feelings or experiences your customers and employees have with your brand. People will associate your logo with the brand they know and love. Easy peasy.

Looking beyond the logo

Not to contradict what we just said, but sometimes subtle is better. Maybe use your brand’s motto, or an image that can be associated with your brand and subtly place your website or social media tag on the decal.

Using the decal that works best for you

We have a variety of choices to help suit your brand. Of course, we have vinyl decals - your classic water-resistant decal that goes great on a water bottle or car. We also have options like 3 dimensional domed decals, floor graphics, labels, and magnets. What are you attempting to accomplish with these decals? Who is your clientele? Where will these decals be seen? Ask yourself these questions to decide what product works best for your brand!

As always, we are here to help with creative solutions. Our in-house design team can help you turn your vision into reality.

What Decal Material Lasts Longest Outdoors? A Spec-by-Spec Comparison

What Decal Material Lasts Longest Outdoors? A Spec-by-Spec Comparison

The longest-lasting outdoor decal is cast vinyl under a UV-stable overlaminate, which 3M rates at 8 years for its standard printed-and-laminated construction. Polyester with a polyester overlaminate runs 5 to 8 years. Polymeric calendered vinyl falls well short of both, and economy monomeric film can be finished inside a year. But the material is only half the answer — orientation, climate, and how the decal fails matter as much as what it's made of.

Kiss-Cut vs Butt-Cut Labels: How to Choose (With Spec Table)

Kiss-Cut vs Butt-Cut Labels: How to Choose (With Spec Table)

Kiss-Cut vs Butt-Cut Labels: How to Choose (With Spec Table): Choose kiss-cut labels when they'll be peeled by hand off a backer or fed from a roll or sheet, or when the shape is anything but a plain rectangle. Choose butt-cut when the label is rectangular and volume, speed, and unit cost decide the job. Kiss-cut buys flexibility; butt-cut buys throughput. Everything below is detail on that one rule.
